I am winding coils with square wire the helix of the winding is easy enough. At the end of the layer the wire is "curled" around the mandrel about 180deg until it follows along the centerline. I am able to do this using the sheet metal fold commands, but at the end of the wire the cross section is keystoned, rounded, etc. The starting cross section is lost during folds. Using the loft command I can use a short distance to "form" it back to its starting state.
Is there any ways/settings/variables to maintain the original cross section? I will gladly send a pic of the winding to help explain.
Thanks for any suggestions and help.
