We need to create a program on a SLC 500. We need to know how to write a program to create a square root extractor on a SLC 500 without square root capibilities.

Anyone's help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes Francis we got it to work. It worked with good resolution. We used math functions to convert a 4-20 ma signal into 0-250 inches of water column and then into 0-100% flow. The math functions we used gave us the square root capabilities.

Your help was greatly appreciated.
