I am trying to determine what advantages and/or disadvantages there are when using round or square (rectangular) wet wells for a plant influent lift station.
Round tanks can be made out of FRP at very competetive prices. If there is a mold available, any shape can be made out of FRP at competitive prices, (shipping costs are less than other materials). Precast concrete plants make both shapes or a custom configuration with freight being a large component of the cost.
