Spyware removal programs

I've just recently found out not to run Adaware and Spybot with MathCad 12 installed. They delete required files and I had to reinstall and register MathCad again.

 
Was there a question?

Mathcad use Safecast as the license server. Safecast has other products that are considered to be spyware.

The following is an email I received from MathCad support to work around the issue, this is all I know about it.



Thank you for your inquiry.

Do you have any anti-spyware, such as SpyBot or SpySweeper? Said
programs are known to damage the license file. If you have such
programs, then set them to leave the activation folder ("C_dilla")
alone.
