Hi i have a device that have spt-1 wire for connection 16awg spt-1
similar as this
I must enter it into this type of connector (see picture) CI2175 at
i will have one spt-1 wire and one standard nmd90 10/2 wire in the connector then they will connect together into an electrical box (supply is protected by 30 amp breaker). ive check into electrical code of canada and they said that the input wire of my device (small 5va ac adapter) should be able to withstand 1/3 of current breaker capacity which is ok (16awg spt-1 is rated at 13 amps)

is this legal to use this type of connector for spt-1 wire?

Can you wire in a normal outlet (if the #10 wire fits), protected by a normal 15A breaker, and then add a normal AC plug to the AC adapter and plug it in?

No i cant add, i will add those small ac adapter to existing equipement that runs at 240V and it must be very inexpensive installation (commercial application)
