Spring design for a vibrating screen shaker

Hi,

I'm working on a design at the moment for a vibrating screen shaker.

What is the governing factor for the spring rate design for the springs which support the shaker basket?

I'm thinking of trying to remember some of my dynamics and control papers to work out the response force on the support frame due to the force input of the vibrating motors. Then finding a spring rate that gives good isolation of the frame without losing the motion of the shaker itself.
