Hello there.

I am currently studying spouted beds for biomass treatment, but I am having a hard time understanding some basic concepts.

Could you tell me if is there any introductory level book or reference to the subject?

Apart from a Google search you may find good reading material in Perry's Chemical Engineers' Handbook, 8th Ed., chapter 22 -Waste Management-.
