Spot face specifications

I am compiling best practices for bolted joint design. I would like people to share any drawing specifications they use for spot faced holes for bolted joints. I was thinking about flatness, perpendicularity and surface finish. Thanks for your help.

Cory, one thing to condider would be whether you put a slight chamfer/csk for the slight radius where the shank joins the head on the bolt/screw.

Not sure I've ever seen any of the 3 things you explicitly list specifically stated for a spot face. That's not to say they souldn't be but I don't recall seeing it.

We have a chart for c'bores, spotfaces etc. based on the values in Machineries for inch counterbores. We use same dia for c'bores and spot faces.
