I am a mold designer so the terminology is as such,
If I have a core and I want to extrude an electrode from it, currently I use the combine/subtract then save the result as a new part, break all references to it and then back up the original file to get back to where I started, then make an assembly and combine the two files for location reference. Is there an easier way? Is there a way to do like a boolean operation and keep both bodies to create a multibody part?
Thanks for any help you can offer.
