Hello,
I am trying to apply draft angles from a parting line on my part. The ends of the part mate up in an assembly and it is important that these faces are a certain size to maintain clean lines. Since the height of the material at the parting line isn't as important, I was wondering if it is possible in Solid Edge to add material from the part edge to the parting line instead of subtracting material from the line back to the edge.

I have attempted to add material before applying the draft angle, but the shape of the parting line is complicated enough that it is causing problems in the model.

Any help or tips are appreciated

Have you tried using the Draft command with the 'Parting Surface' or 'From Edge' options set?
