Spline specification 2

I have a part print with internal spline specified as ?26.0x?30.0x13P. It is a metric print. Can someone help me get more information on this spline? Are ?26.0 & ?30.0 the minor & major diameters respectively? If I scale the print it measures close to 26.0 & 30.0 but, I can't be sure as it is fax print. The print shows 13 splines, so that is what 13 must stand for. The print is from one of the asian countires as it has chinese type characters on it. Thanks in advance.

Yes, you have identified the numbers correctly. You should follow gerhardl's advice and get ISO 4156 at the least.

Thanks, Gearhead & CoryPad. Are you absolutely sure that it is ISO specification? I couldn't tell from the ISO web site which one of the four standards document will have the information I need. And buying all four, I don't think my company will permit. Any other suggestions as to where or how I can view these documents?

Although if those "chinese type" characters are actually Japanese then you might also need:

JIS B 1601 Straight-sided splines for cylindrical shafts with internal centering - Dimensions, tolerances and verification

or

JIS B 1603 Straight cylindrical involute splines - side fit - Generalities, dimensions and inspection
