Hi all ,

I'm working on a buried concrete tunnel design and would like to achieve a modulus of subgrade reaction (Ks) as high as possible (>120,000kN/m³) with an engineered backfill. I'm not a geotech engineer (just a structural) but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of how I could specify the compaction to achieve said Ks value. We'll use a high quality sand as the backill material but I'm unsure of how compaction % relates to modulus of subgrade reaction, thanks
