I am involved in a project to design sprinkler system for a warehouse.
I have attached the layout of racks. The commodity class is I, II and III and the rack types are double-row without solid shelves. I know that to specify the in-rack sprinkler arrangement I can use Table 16.3.1.1 (from NFPA13-2010), but I don't understand well "In-Rack Sprinkler Arrangement" Figures (Figures 16.3.4.1.1.1 a-j)
In the attached drawing, I have specified a rack with revision cloud, the rack height is 12.06m and the rack length is 43m.
If I use Figure 16.3.4.1.1.1 (e) for the specified rack, how many levels of in-rack sprinkler dose the rack require? Can you tell how many in-rack sprinklers (longitudinal and face sprinklers) does it need?
