I can't find anything in FM Global data sheets that addresses the addition of sprinklers to the ductwork but even if I did I would want something from FM Global but...

I have done the insides of a roasters and kilns but never the ductwork.

I am just curious if anyone has run into this?

High temp head of course but I will let FM Global tell me what the temperature to use. I once did a kiln where a high temp head went off but I used the temperature FM wanted me to use so that was my get our of jail free card.

So, if anyone has done this with ducts like this and what design criteria were you given?

Oh, and don't worry, I would not touch this job until FM Global tells me what they want in writing.
