I started my new job today & can't get this new SpaceBall 5000 to run right. I'm still on 2006 SP0.0... I don't think that's the problem, but I will be getting the latest SP soon. Also running Windows XP Professional.

Additionally - I can't get the SolidWorks specific button-mapping dialog box or the toolbar to be available. I tried re-booting & it didn't help. I'm stumped... :-(

Is this typical of the 5000? ...my last was a 4000FLS (serial).

Too quick on the brag, eh? ;-) Congrats anyway.

Wrong thread, I know. But it's sincere!

NOBODY PANIC... TAKE YOUR HANDS OFF YOUR SPACEBALLS & ROLL BACK SLOWLY!

I got the latest drivers & that solved the problem... Lesson learned...
