Really? Hey, maybe the dimensional input capture is now up to speed? Or something even better?

(I wonder why the bug fix list always lags so far behind the SP release?)

Guess they have to wait and see what stuff people still complain about...[poke]

Is there something major coming our way? And didn't just release SP2.0 last month?

Dan,
LMAO! If they're bored, they should try looking at all the enhancement requests we all submitted the last 10 years that never got incorporated into the software.

I think this is the solution to the hotfix they released just a couple of days ago concerning the web portal and PDMWorkgroups. The issue was big enough to release a hotfix, something SW almost never does, so I'm not surprised that there's a *.1 pack to deal with it, rather than the original plan to wait till SP 3.0. After all, remember the *.1 patch that fixed the PDMWorkgroup install from trashing a file server on reboot?

The sub service packs (x.1) typically address something important that they broke in the x.0 service pack. Were there any major regressions between 1.0 and 2.0?

Maybe it is so they can tell all the users at SolidWorks World that they have fixed everything (because they are customer driven after all).

Sorry, I must have sprinkled a little extra cynicism on my corn flakes this morning.

Handleman,

What do you know about the "new, easy" Certified SolidWorks Professional test?

Thanks.

handleman's taking about the new online test (I think). The old certification was very very hard test. Now it's it's a lot easier by being online and not as hard.

I see 466161 fixes eDrawings viewing in the PDM vault. I'm having this problem in SW2008 SP 4.0.

SPR list is released on the website now. Took 'em long enough.
