Sound Wall Design?

I am very new to this topic. I have to design for ground mounted sound wall. Can anyone suggest for a good reference?

Many of the state departments of transportation have criteria for sound mitigation using walls, shrubs, and setbacks. Checks their websites for data. The Florida DOT has some info on sound walls.

AASHTO has a sound wall design guide that is very handy. Mostly though this work is done by the precast manufacturer in most DOT work.

I don't know what side of the fence you're on.
