Hi everyone,

I 've started a bussines, a little EV station. Sadly before we can even start to charge cars, all the power cables have been cut and stolen. I don't thing that CCTV cameres will help, it's pretty easy to cut the cable and run away. And once the cable will be replaced, I am sure they will come again... The only thing I can think about is to cover the cable with some sort of mesh that can protect the cable, so they can not be cut easily with a bult cutter or an angle grinder. Itshould be a very resistant material and also flexible.

Anyone of you can help me find some material like this?

Thanks in advance to everyone

The best that appears available is using aluminum wire instead of copper. If they are stealing aluminum, the options simply slow them down a few minutes and cost you more.

Asking this for my own sanity - do posts disappear from threads even if they do not have anything contentious?

I thought this thread had at least five suggestions/replies earlier today. Now I see only one.

Nope - it's what happens when there is double posting. Select the OP name and see where they have posted.
