Solidworks "adaptive" parts?

Using a sketched "skeleton" in an an assembly, i would like to use a short tubing section and have it expand to the length of the sketch skeleton driven by applied constraints.
mate centre line to tube central axis. mate one end of the tube segment to the one end of the sketched line, then mate the other end of the tube segment to the other end of the sketched line, at which point the tube will increase in length to accommodate length of the sketched line.
this "adaptive" property or whatever they call it in solidedge is invoked though a toggle on the specific part in the parts browser or both the previously mentioned softwares.
