I made a model for a part for a RC vehicle. I am now needing to make the other half that is basically a inverse. It is a telescoping axle. I started recreating it from scratch but then thought I would quit being stubborn and ask for help in doing it. Is there a way in Solidworks to create the opposite features so the part can interlock and slide without starting over from scratch?

Here is a link to my solidworks file. I am a complete newb to solidworks. All my previous cad training was autocad 97

If I understand you correctly, you're trying to create what's called a mirror of your part. Have you tried using the mirror feature (mirror individual features or bodies)?
