Does anyone have a simple example to show how to retrieve texture information? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Type texture into the API help of SolidWorks.
Lots of examples there........

This is true for SW 2005, but not for 2004 and I don't think that the same method is used for both. Does anyone know for 2004. Thanks for any help you can give!

SW2004 had only two APIs for texture: apply and remove. Neither worked well.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I am not trying to apply or remove a texture, but rather trying to determine the texture already applied to the surface. Do you know of the API call required to perform this action in SW 2004? Thanks for any help you can give!

moleary,

As I stated, there were only two APIs available in SW2004: ModelDocExtension::ApplyTexture and ModelDocExtension::RemoveTexture.

I know that is not what you want to here. I even asked API help when I was trying to do the same as you several months back as was told nothing like that would be available until SW2005.

Sorry,
