Are Solidworks and CATIA CAD softwares supplied by Dassault?
Are there any partnership between them?

Thanks

As I understand it, Dassault bought solidworks a few years ago. They liked it so much, v5 emulates a few thing that SWx has had going for it for a while......

As I understand it, they are both owned by Dassault, but have different marketing strategies, and, therefore, do not cooperate very well. SolidWorks likes to have Solutions Partners that cooperate. Catia likes to have conquests.

There are a few third party translators that work well. Ellysium puts one out that is supposed to work really well. I think Greg has mentioned a couple that he has used in the past in another thread.

Thanks All for help me.
