Hi, I am simulating a magnet and solenoid in 2-D planar simulation configuration. I am looking to quantify the magnetic flux captured by the coil wrapped around the core. I am modeling the coil as two halfs on either side of the core. To measure the flux after simulating, I am calculating the line integral at 3 points as shown in the figure, then averaging these values. Is the model and means of quantifying the flux valid? I would prefer planar vs axi.

Is your solenoid/magnet cylindrical? If yes, then you must model in axial/rotationally symmetric mode.
