Can we determine Soil Shear Modulus from Direct Shear Test ( UU or CU)
as the F/A
G= _______
xl/li
where G = soil shear modulus , F/A= Stress(Mpa) and xl/li= strain (mm)
from the 3 loads normal load vs shear strength ( 1 2 3)
or from Graph ?
