I am involved in some preliminary, pile foundation design in the BioBio River in Concepcion, Chile. At this time, there has not been a geotechnical investigation or report. This will be done as soon as (if?) the project is a go. Does anyone have any soils and seismic information for the river bottom that they are willing to share?
