when working out the active pressures of a soil at a certain depth is the undrained strength Cu the same thing as c' and Su and can the formula Ka x density x z - (2 x Su x Sqrt(Ka)) be used or is a different formula needed??

ignore undrained shear strength and cohesion. Just use tan2(45-phi/2) to get Ka. Horizontal pressure at any depth is Ka*Z

Hope this helps.
