Does anyone have any suggestions for literature sources concerning the use of soil-cement mix as an erosion control measure on berms. I am working on a project in the Bahamas where berms will be constructed with on-site soils and a layer of soil-cement for the cover. The berms may receive significant wave action.

I am looking primarily for design information for the soil-cement mix appropriate to withstand wave action and other causes of erosion.

Funny that. I have been considering soil cement for a project in the Bahamas also - on Cat Island. You may find the US Army doc @ of some use however it would seem the only way to obtain any truely relevant mix proportions would be the good old tried and tested method. Should you carry out any tests I would be very interested in the results. It sounds as though you may be considering the same project however. Keep in touch.
