Softdesk Version 8 Point Alignment Database

I am getting error messages when I try to use the alignment commands in the design module of softdesk 8. The error messages state that there is a problem in reading data from alignment database as well as error messages stating cannot access alignment database. This is only happening in one project, in other projects the commands work. Any suggestions would be greatly apppreciated.

This is really a autodesk (software question). This error is a corrupt database alignment Autodesk has a suggest method to fix this problem. It can be found at discussion.autodesk.com.
