Hi

Im trying to figure out a snap fit design that can be repeatedly opened and closed. Also the snap locking depth can vary +- 0.7 mm but has to have a locking force on any position. Is there a good, proven design for such a thing?

I thought of using a regular snap on a declinging surface so it would pull the snap inside on every position.

I'm guessing you'll need a longer beam to keep stresses reasonable. Do check.

Cruise a supermarket for good examples.
