attached is the desktop shot of the problem i am facing, trying to design this 7 story building as a S.M.R.F. but Ram keeps reminding me that as per 21.4 Pu < As.fc/10 so cannot be designed as a column.
what should i do to satisfy this ? reduce the size of column ?

I've never used RAM Advanse for concrete design before, but I do use it pretty extensively for analysis only. It is actually my favorite analysis program and I use it all the time and then just pull the forces out and design things by hand - moment connections, or existing connection reinforcements, or concrete beams, etc.
I might consider doing the same thing here. Who cares if RAM Advanse is telling you that the size is inadequate. I'm not sure that really makes sense as nothing is concrete is really designed as a "column". It's all about the strain in the steel and where it falls on the interaction diagram, so the amount of axial load should be irrelevant. Either way, I would pull out the axial loads and moments from those two columns and either design by hand or use PCACol.
I am assuming that this is only an issue in the design portion of the program and that there is no issue with the analysis portion.

i am sorry it is not Ram Advanse, it is RAM STRUCTURAL SYSTEM.

you may be right that its all about the strain in steel, but still if one used a code to design a member, i believe then the relevant clauses should be satisfied.
The frame is being designed as a Special moment resisting frame and the condition for column or the "axialy loaded member" is that it should have a load more than Ag.fc/10.
Now what is am asking is that has anyone face the same problem and incase yes, then how to satisfy the condition ?
