Smart dimensions

I have a rectangular solid. I'm in sketch mode and have placed 16 circles along the same axis on the solid. I realized I placed the cirles too far from one edge and need to move the whole axis of cirles closer to the edge. Is there anyway to move all the circles all at once with the smart dimension command or do I need to select the move command. I've all ready tried using the move command and typing in a delta y value but it didn't move the cirles to the right spot.

It would seem to me you would dimension one hole and then constrain that position to the other holes. Unless I'm missing something.

You can select a group of sketch elements and do a Tools>Sketch Tools>Move. As bluesman0007 implies, if you fwere using good modeling practices you should just be able to change a dimension.

If the design intent is to have 16 holes use a linear sketch pattern and dim the patten line (just an construction line from the first circle to the last circle) to the edge you want.

But to be honest, it seems you should do the basic tutorials provided in the help files, they are free and cover subjects like this one (with the bonus of nice pics for reference).

I prefer to create & position one hole & then pattern that feature rather than use the LSS&R function.
