Has anyone had any luck with small to medium waste heat recovery systems?
I'm exploring the idea of recovery waste heat (approx. 9.0 MMBTU) from the exhaust (700 deg F) of a series of diesel engines. My thought was to convert the waste energy recovered to electrical energy via a heat recovery steam generator/steam engine(turbine)/electric generator.
My own research has lead to a small market of applications but I'm just curious if anyone has ventured into it, and/or do i even have a feasible application?
