Is there a way to hide small curves from a drawing view via some sort of setting ?
I think I remember seeing a setting that will hide curves smaller than a specified size from a view, but I don't remember where it is.

If you double click your view border then go to the hidden line tab. I think it is under here. Small features? this may work for ya.

Here is the setting that you're looking for:

You might also want to make sure that on the...

Customer Defaults -> Drafting -> View -> Threads

...page that the 'True Hidden Line' option is toggled OFF.
