Sludge Collectors - Technology Comparison

I'm trying to find any publications or info comparing (pros and cons) of sludge collectors in primary and final settling tanks - specifically traveling bridges and longitudinal chain and flight collectors.

I've been looking through various texts ("Wastewater Engineering Treatment and Reuse" from M&E; WEF MOP 11) and haven't been able to find anything comparing the two technologies. If anyone has any information or links, let me know.
