Hi

Has anyone had any success and know how in casting a concrete slab in a multistory garage with a slope for drainage (1:60)?

We have large areas and want to avoid screeds (and a disaster).

Regards

Newbie,

In our area, typically the formwork is sloped, as required to meet the project requirements. Following installation of the rebar, a consistent thickness of concrete is placed throughout the pour area. The final result is a sloped top surface while maintaining an even/consistent slab thickness. As long as you are experienced in pouring flat (non-sloped) slabs, it shouldn't be to different.
