Not sure if this question is posed in the correct area, but I need to know if AutoCAD 2005 had the capibility's of doing a slope analysis and if so, how? Thanks in advance.
No, not without the Slope Analysis transmogrifier adapter......
OK what's a slope analysis? Identifing areas of a given ground slope/exceeding a certain slope? Assuming it's something like that - that may be possible with an add-on such as Civil 3D, Land Desktop Development, or similar. But you'd need a surface defined, typically with a DTM from ground spot elevations or contours. If you have vanilla Autocad, and surface is shown with contours, I'd say AutoCAD won't be much help. If surface is with 3dfaces, you may have some hope, if you had a lisp that could translate the 3dface vertices to a planar slope.
