Can any one tell me the most accurate way to measure tyre slip angles, I have allways done subjective evaluation but have been asked to try get some objective data to back up my judgement.

Thanks for reply.
I am useing test track skid pad etc, have steering angle sensors, yaw rate sensors coriverts etc, have been asked for both front and rear data.

It's too easy to get the signs wrong when describing what to do - I suggest look it up in Milliken or Gillespie. You need to consider, for instance, the difference between the vehicle's heading and its path.
