Hi,

I have a shaft that has a diameter or 6 mm g7. Does anyone know what the tolerances are (min / max) on this shaft?

Or does this type of fit not provide that information?

Thanks

Gabriel

Yes, you need to find the iso table of shaft based fits.

A google search should find it for you. In fact you may even find a calculator online somewhere. You could also try looking more carefully through this site as it's come up before.

For example
KENAT,

Have you reminded yourself of faq731-376 recently, or taken a look at posting policies:

Ok I see the g7 fit. I tried looking in the Machinery's handbook and it wasn't there. I see for the g7 fit of 6 mm dia shaft, the tolerances are -4 x 10^-6 and -16 x 10-6. So it's pretty much 6 mm.

Thanks for this info!!

Max. Ø 5,996 Min.Ø5,984. (units - mm)
