A US standard we are working to refers to Slick Line in connection with placing concrete in tunnel lining. Anyone know what the term "Slick Line" means. It is not a term we use in UK.

Slick line has two common meanings in the U.S., both related to concrete pumping through a hose. Sometimes the hose itself is referred to as a slick line. Also, slick lining can mean priming the pump and hose with grout to reduce friction prior to pumping concrete.
