Hello,
I am modelling a rolling simulation. The roller is an analytic rigid body and the workpiece is deformable with C3D8R elements.
The contact is Surface-to-Surface contact (Explicit). I cannot figure out how to prevent the workpiece from penetrating the analytic rigid.
I was hoping someone could explain why this is occurring. I am looking into mesh refinement and modelling roller as discrete rigid as possible solutions.
