We are using SAMBA and AIX 4.3.3 for storage of our V5 parts and V4 models. The problem I'm having is when we save a product with V5.10 using NT/XP platform on a unix server, (I'm also using DLnames). Then I try to open the product with V5.10 on the AIX platform, it can not find the V4 models used to make up the product because the path slashes are going the opposite way .The models are in different directories also. I have also tested with Services for Unix with the same results. Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated

Don't know about CATIA, but when we had UG on OSF/1 and NT, UG had the forethought to include a directory translation file. You would enter a u*ix directory name, tab, NT directory name. The software knew what platform I was working on and would look up the correct directory from this file. Ben Loosli
