Hey,

Is there anyone who knows how to model a beam under a slab so that it only acts as a vertical support?

I have found that the slab connection to the beam by default is rigid and this may cause torsion on a beam. Only way I have found is to use a line release but this will also remove the bending of the slab which I don't want. The slab is supposed to be continuous. This appears to be the case with Rfem and Robot structural analysis.
