I am currently designing a 11 storey residential apartment building. I have a 2 way rc "end span" slab restrained on all 4 edges with 400x 600dp beams. Beams are spaced at grids of 7.8m & 8.1m. Data as follows:

LL = 2 kPa
SDL = 3.0 kPa (inclusive of 150 series NLB blockwalls)
DL = Slab self weight
fc' = 40 mPa concrete
fsy = 500 mPa steel

sorry got disturbed by the graduate engineer :) Slab thickness & rebar please.

it needs more details than that and the employment of an engineer.

thickness 350mm

24mm bars at 150mm centres each way top and bottom.

Tomfh are you pulling his leg? [ponder]

Arguing with an engineer is like wrestling with a pig in mud. After a while you realize that them like it
