Sketch on a detail view

Is there a way to sketch on a detail on view on a drawing?

I can do it on a "normal view", but i cant find a way to do it on a detail view.

Did you select the Detail view in the pull down menu of the Sketch Tools toolbar? Is standard set to the drawing itself.

when i make a sketch on the "normal" view, do I following:

Left mouse clic - activate sketch?

But i cant do that on a detail view and i cant find the sketch tools toolbar?

I am using NX 8.5

Right-click on the detail view and select Convert to Independent Detail.

After that you will be able to Activate sketch and sketch in a detail view.
