Sketch in place doesen't show surface borders in blue!!

I running I-deas 9m2. Some how I have problems with sketching in place. It doesn't select the surface and its edges even it recognize the surface as a plain and it can sketch in that plane, but I can not use the surface borders.
any idea how I can fix this???

If you have the model Checked-Out then this is odd. A work round would be to focus the edges on to the Work Plane.
