sizing piping for wellhead production manifold

in inner diameter sizing for piping of production manifold for multiphase well , are we use the same correlations and procedure as we sizing flowline or there is special requirement for this case , also is the flow regime and flow assurance study need to be consider when sizing wellhead piping or can be neglected with reference to the limit size & dimensions of the manifold in comparing with pipeline
