good day everyone, I've been reading nfpa 13 standards for sprinklers and i have clarification about pipe sizing using hydraulic calculation on how to do it. I don't want to use pipe schedule in my design. please help me.

That is too broad of a topic to try to teach on an internet forum. I would suggest you look into some online classes or something that goes over the methods of hydraulic calculations.

The process is quite simple for tree systems and is clearly spelled out in NFPA 13.

thank you Mr.travis for your reply. I know the basics of hydraulic calculation to calculate the water demand and all. i just don't know how to apply it to the pipe sizing to all pipe.

You are going to calculate a certain area. Basically, that becomes your pipe schedule for the entire job. That is how you apply your calculated area to the entire system. That is provided the entire system is all one design criteria.

Well, one thing is known, the most remote branch to which the drain line is connected can not be smaller than 1".
