Hello.
I am currently doing an internship in an in an oilseed processing industry in which i saw a part of a process that pumps moist lecithin into a tank.
How do i size the capacity of a lobe pump for this case? I was thinking about it because in most books i've reading about this topic the fluid was always water and i fear that the formulas are adecuated just for the particular case of water.
I hope some of you guys give me a hand by recommending me a source[preferably in metric units] that clears my doubt.
Regards
V.H.

What is " moist" lecithin?
The basic detail required for pump selection is viscosity and specific gravity of the product, the flow rate required and the pressure (head) required to effect transfer.
