They were in service for 40 years. It'll be interesting to see how the UK will replace the power lost from their aging nuclear fleet.

We'll probably build 10 Westinghouse AP1000 over the next 15 years to provide us with 25% of our electricity needs for the next 50-60 years. Political and Public perception is changing.
