See Link. I've been following this since Christmas Eve. It must be very slow moving as the latest news is fours days old.
What amazes me is that the same pipeline had a washout about a dozen years ago. You would think that whatever problem it had it would of been fixed for its entire length after that. I'm also curious on what the cause was (and is). Is it mechanical wear? Bad joints? Hydrogen sulfide damage? That old type Prestressed Concrete Cylinder Pipe (PCCP)?
